Responsibility
- Develop and optimize transportation plans and routes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Lead fleet operations, including dispatch, maintenance coordination, and driver oversight.
- Analyze performance metrics using data dashboards; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Compliance) to align on service levels.
- Manage vendor relationships with carriers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and risk management.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews for transportation spend.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years in transportation, fleet, or logistics management; experience in urban mobility is a plus.
- Proven track record in route optimization, fleet utilization, and cost reduction.
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Tableau, SQL) and experience with TMS/WMS systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety guidelines for transportation.
- Advanced problem-solving and project management abilities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
