Join Tan Tock Seng Hospital, a landmark integrated medical campus in Singapore, as a Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse in our busy Emergency Department. In this role you will contribute to rapid triage, thorough assessment, timely interventions, and safe patient handovers. You will manage a broad range of cases, from minor injuries to life threatening emergencies, under the guidance of senior nurses and ED physicians. The workload is dynamic and requires critical thinking, excellent prioritization, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining a patient centered approach.

Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department including triage, fast assessment, ongoing monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments per nursing care plan and physician orders, including IV therapies and wound care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient ED throughput.
- Respond to emergencies, initiate resuscitation measures, and participate in code blue and rapid response protocols as required.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical records system and maintain patient privacy and data security.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and postdischarge care.
- Maintain ED equipment, ensure readiness of bays, and uphold infection control, safety, and quality improvement practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to unit based quality initiatives and audits.
Qualification
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing with current registration with the Singapore Nursing Board as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years of ED or acute care nursing experience; experience in triage and resuscitation preferred.
- ACLS certification with BLS certification; willingness to maintain current certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision making under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient and family centered care ethos.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, EMR systems, and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
