Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end US accounting operations for multiple client accounts, including monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure US GAAP compliance, robust internal controls, and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with client contracts.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors, preparing supporting schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
- Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness.
- Mentor and supervise a growing team of accounting professionals, fostering career development and high-quality output.
- Provide timely management information, variance analyses, and KPI reporting to US-based stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage intercompany transactions, month-end close calendars, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, and sales teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience with US GAAP and US financial reporting; experience in a US-focused BPO or multinational environment is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls; experience with revenue recognition and close processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills; experience with data analytics is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to partner with US-based clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and implement process improvements with a proactive mindset.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Professional certifications (CPA) are a plus; willingness to continue professional development.
