As the Video Producer, you will shepherd projects from concept through delivery, balancing creative vision with practical logistics. You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, allocate resources, and maintain meticulous production records to ensure seamless execution.
Responsibility
- Lead pre-production planning, including concept refinement, script review, shot lists, production schedules, location scouting, permits, and risk assessments.
- Oversee on-set operations: call sheets, crew coordination, equipment logistics, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage production budgets, vendor relations, permissions, and procurement to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with the DP, camera, lighting, and sound teams to realize creative vision while optimizing efficiency.
- Supervise post-production handoff: editing, color, sound mix, and visual effects, ensuring brand alignment and timely delivery.
- Maintain clear client communication, provide progress updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure archival and asset management, metadata tagging, and delivery of final deliverables in required formats.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in video production or as a video producer, with a strong reel of branded content and/or short films.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with production tools and software (Frame.io, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Excellent on-set leadership, communication, and collaboration with directors, crew, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel for shoots; a valid driver's license is a plus.
- Knowledge of budgeting, permits, releases, insurance requirements, and legal considerations for productions.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, or a related field preferred.
