Gaba Telepsychiatry PC is actively seeking a skilled Virtual Medical Scribe with a background in pharmacy or nursing to support our remote psychiatric care team. In this role, you will partner with licensed clinicians to accurately document patient encounters, transcribe notes, and enter orders in real time, helping to deliver efficient, safe, and compassionate telepsychiatry services to patients in the Philippines and around the world.

Responsibility
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) during virtual visits under clinician supervision.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records, including diagnoses, medications, procedure notes, and orders.
- Assist clinicians with data entry, order processing, and chart updates; verify lab results and imaging orders as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant privacy and security for all patient information and documentation.
- Manage medical terminology, abbreviations, and document templates to standardize notes across encounters.
- Coordinate with the care team to ensure timely and seamless patient care and follow-up.
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies; escalate issues to the clinician when necessary.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Nursing, or related healthcare field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a medical scribe or clinical documentation specialist (remote experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology basics.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telemedicine platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment; reliable internet connection and strong time-management.
- Willingness to collaborate with clinicians across time zones; adaptable and discreet in handling patient information.
