As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will collaborate with program staff to expand our volunteer base, ensure a positive volunteer experience, and help demonstrate the impact of our work to supporters and partners.
Responsibility
- Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers for programs and events.
- Manage volunteer schedules, assignments, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for volunteers; address questions and concerns promptly.
- Maintain attendance records, training certifications, and volunteer database data.
- Coordinate training sessions, orientations, and recognition events.
- Collaborate with program teams to align volunteer activities with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement volunteer appreciation initiatives and impact reporting.
Qualification
- Experience in volunteer coordination or community outreach preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and multitasking.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with volunteer management software is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to changing schedules.
