As part of our volunteer team, you will collaborate with staff and partners to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, and coordinate events that benefit local residents.
Responsibility
- Coordinate outreach campaigns to recruit volunteers for programs and events
- Assist with planning, logistics, and on-site support for community events
- Represent the organization at community meetings and partner events
- Manage volunteer databases, schedules, and communication channels
- Support fundraising activities and donor stewardship efforts
- Contribute to social media and marketing materials to raise visibility
- Track program impact and prepare concise reports
- Collaborate with staff to develop new initiatives and volunteers onboarding
Qualification
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college or university
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work with diverse communities
- Experience in event planning, outreach, or volunteer coordination preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient with basic software (email, spreadsheets, social media)
- Passionate about social impact and community service
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends
