Join GlobalAid Foundation in New York City as a Volunteer Program Coordinator. This is a part-time, unpaid role designed for motivated individuals who want real-world nonprofit experience while giving back to the community. You will work with a dynamic team to support volunteer programs, manage onboarding, and drive engagement across events and outreach initiatives. We provide training and flexible hours; a meaningful, hands-on role with real impact in NYC communities.
Responsibility
- Coordinate volunteer onboarding, orientation, and credentialing processes to ensure a smooth start for new volunteers.
- Maintain and update the volunteer management system, accuracy of records, hours, and assignments.
- Support planning and execution of community outreach events, campaigns, and volunteer-led activities.
- Collaborate with program leads to identify volunteer needs, roles, and training requirements.
- Monitor volunteer engagement metrics, collect feedback, and propose program improvements.
- Prepare reports for stakeholders and assist with grant-related documentation as needed.
- Promote an inclusive, safe, and positive volunteer experience aligned with organizational values.
Qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate volunteers.
- Experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or event coordination is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with volunteer management software or CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; flexible scheduling.
- Passion for social impact, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Bilingual abilities a plus (English required).
