Join the dynamic team at Scanmar Maritime Services as a 2nd Mate on a container vessel. We specialize in manning various types of ships including bulk, general cargo, passenger, reefer, and oil tankers. As a 2nd Mate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
Responsibility
- Assist the Chief Officer in all aspects of deck operations
- Supervise deck crew members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain navigational equipment and charts
- Assist in cargo operations
Qualification
- Valid STCW certification
- Previous experience as a Deck Officer
- Proficient in navigation and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
