Job description

Join Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) as a Billing Executive on a fixed-term contract in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our billing systems for Consumer Services and Products.

As a UAT-focused Billing Executive, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, Billing Operations, and Product Management to validate new features, configurations, and data changes before they reach customers. You will design and execute test scenarios, review business requirements for clarity, and document defects with clear reproduction steps. Your work will help safeguard revenue, improve customer experience, and support process improvements across the billing lifecycle.

Key activities include planning UAT cycles, developing test cases, managing defect logs, and producing timely test status updates and risk assessments. You will validate billing configurations, pricing rules, invoice formats, tax calculations, data migrations, and reconciliation processes. With strong communication skills, you will translate business requirements into test scripts and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently. This contract position offers exposure to the vibrant telecom billing domain and an opportunity to contribute to improvements in financial operations and customer care.

Responsibility

  • Plan and execute UAT cycles for Billing Consumer Services or Products, ensuring end-to-end coverage of billing scenarios and customer journeys.
  • Develop, maintain, and review UAT test cases, scripts, and acceptance criteria aligned with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with QA, IT, Product, and Billing Operations to reproduce defects and verify fixes across multiple billing platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps to reproduce, severity, and priority; monitor resolution progress.
  • Validate billing configurations, pricing rules, invoicing formats, tax rules, and data migrations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide timely test status reports, risk assessments, and senior stakeholder updates to inform project decisions.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize billing workflows and customer experience.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience performing UAT testing, preferably in billing systems or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition, and customer invoicing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to translate business requirements into test cases.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM) and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
