Job description

Join Shopee's Operations team as a Warehouse Shift Officer for SCommerce in Singapore. In this fast paced logistics role, you will supervise daily warehouse activities that enable accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing and outbound shipments. You will play a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity, ensuring safety, and delivering on promises to customers and sellers in the Shopee marketplace. This is a hands on, shift based opportunity within a dynamic e commerce environment that rewards initiative, reliability and teamwork.

As a Shift Officer, you will lead a rotating team, coordinate with warehouse partners and cross functional colleagues, and drive continuous improvements in process, accuracy and speed. Your responsibilities will include enforcing standard operating procedures, conducting basic quality checks, managing handovers, and reporting exceptions. You will develop a strong understanding of our SCommerce operations and contribute to a culture of safety and service excellence.

Responsibility

  • Monitor daily warehouse operations across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead and supervise a rotating shift team, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and productivity targets.
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound goods and investigate discrepancies or damages.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, proper bin locations, and real-time data entry in the WMS.
  • Coordinate with SCommerce and logistics partners to meet service levels and expedite orders when needed.
  • Enforce safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and report incidents following established procedures.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse flow.
  • Prepare shift handover documents, performance metrics, and daily incident/resolution logs.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in e commerce or retail.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast paced, shift based environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse management systems.
  • Problem solving mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure.
