Responsibility
- Design, plan, and execute research studies aligned with the department's objectives.
- Perform rigorous data collection, data cleaning, and statistical analyses using appropriate software.
- Develop and validate experimental protocols; ensure reproducibility and research integrity.
- Collaborate with faculty, postdocs, and students; communicate progress through regular meetings and reports.
- Prepare figures, tables, and manuscripts; contribute to grant writing and funding applications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies and datasets; ensure compliance with ethics and regulatory standards.
- Present findings at internal seminars and external conferences; assist with teaching and mentoring activities as needed.
Qualification
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field; or Master’s with substantial research experience.
- Proven track record of independent research with peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong quantitative skills; proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with study design, data management, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex results clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with research ethics, grant requirements, and reporting obligations.
