As an Advanced Quality Planning Engineer, you will lead the quality planning and process validation activities for new product introductions and existing product enhancements in our Singapore facility. This role requires close collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Supplier Quality teams to ensure robust quality plans, risk mitigation, and on-time product launches. You will apply APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plan methodologies to drive the development and approval of manufacturing processes that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and monitor quality plans; leading PFMEA/DFMEA sessions and establishing control plans; managing PPAP documentation and process validation activities; establishing process capability, CP/Cpk targets, and SPC data analysis; driving containment actions and corrective/preventive actions; supporting supplier qualification and audits; and championing continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean and Six Sigma tools.

Responsibility
- Lead APQP activities for new product introductions, including development of advanced quality plans, control plans, and PFMEA/DFMEA.
- Collaborate with Design, Process Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure robust product and process design and readiness for production.
- Develop and maintain PPAP documentation, including production part approvals, process flow diagrams, and capability studies.
- Lead process validation, equipment qualification, and run-at-rate studies to validate manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and improve process capability (Cp/Cpk) and SPC metrics; drive data-driven improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with suppliers on qualification, audits, and containment actions; manage supplier quality risk and CAPA actions.
- Lead containment actions and CAPA investigations; ensure timely resolution and preventive measures.
- Provide training and mentoring to quality engineers and shop-floor teams; promote a culture of quality and compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 where applicable.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of Quality Planning or APQP experience in electronics/manufacturing; experience in Singapore preferred.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA (PFMEA/DFMEA), Control Plans, MSA, SPC and process validation.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 frameworks; familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP) and quality management systems; ability to read engineering drawings and CAD outputs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills; ability to lead root-cause analysis and CAPA programs.
- Ability to travel as required and work in an on-site manufacturing environment in Singapore.
