Responsibility
- Operate commercial aircraft in all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements (FAA/ICAO as applicable).
- Perform rigorous pre-flight planning, performance calculations, fuel planning, and weight-and-balance checks.
- Maintain effective communication with air traffic control, dispatch, and crew to ensure safe and on-time operations.
- Conduct thorough cockpit management, monitor systems, and respond to weather and operational contingencies with sound decision-making.
- Lead and participate in Crew Resource Management to optimize safety and efficiency across all flight segments.
- Ensure accurate flight logs, regulatory documentation, and adherence to MEL/AMM procedures.
- Mentor junior pilots, contribute to safety initiatives, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or Commercial Pilot with multi-engine rating and IFR; 1,500+ total flight hours with 250+ PIC preferred.
- Current First Class Medical certificate and well-maintained medical history.
- Type rating on Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 is highly preferred; willingness to obtain type rating on assigned fleet.
- Excellent communication, CRM skills, and ability to work effectively in a crew-based environment.
- Flexibility to operate on irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to cross international boundaries as required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
