Responsibility
- Lead the flight crew during all phases of flight in accordance with FARs and company SOPs.
- Plan and execute safe, efficient flight operations including performance calculations, fuel planning, and contingency management.
- Maintain exemplary CRM and team leadership; coach, mentor, and evaluate flight crew performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety protocols; oversee operational risk management.
- Communicate effectively with ATC and operations control; brief flight attendants and passengers as appropriate.
- Review flight documents, navigate charts, and adjust plans for weather or operational contingencies.
- Participate in safety reporting and incident investigation; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Valid ATP or Airline Transport Pilot License with appropriate ratings (e.g., ATPL, type rating for Airbus A320 family).
- Minimum 5,000 total flight hours with at least 2,000 hours as PIC in multi-engine jets.
- Experience in commercial air transport, demonstrated leadership, and strong CRM skills.
- Current medical certificate (Class 1) and the ability to pass required medical and background screenings.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and calmness under pressure; strong customer service focus.
- Ability to obtain/maintain FAA or applicable national authority credentials; valid passport; willingness to travel internationally.
- Preferred: Type rating on A320 family or equivalent jet experience; proficiency with modern flight decks and FMS.
