As an Area Manager, you will coach and empower store managers to implement data-driven strategies, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and respond swiftly to market trends. You will oversee inventory planning, shrink control, and loss prevention initiatives, collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure product availability aligns with demand. Develop regional budgets, staffing plans, and scheduling to optimize store coverage and labor efficiency while controlling costs. Your ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional partners, analyze sales performance, and translate insights into actionable plans will be critical to sustaining profitable store operations and delivering superior customer service.
You will lead by example—driving training programs, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and customer-centricity. You will also represent the company in vendor negotiations, community initiatives, and events that support store traffic and brand visibility. Responsibility
- Direct and manage store operations for multiple locations within Metro Manila to achieve sales quotas and profitability targets.
- Analyze regional sales data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to drive performance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop store managers and frontline teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences and high employee engagement.
- Lead merchandising execution, product assortment, pricing, and visual standards to maximize conversions and basket size.
- Oversee inventory planning, shrink control, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure product availability aligns with demand.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, health and safety, cash handling, and loss prevention measures.
- Prepare and manage regional budgets, staffing plans, and scheduling to optimize coverage and operational efficiency.
- Provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail store operations or area/territory management, preferably in consumer goods or fashion retail.
- Proven leadership record with experience developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with sales metrics, forecasting, and Excel; ability to translate data into action.
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, shrink control, and loss prevention.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, and store staff.
- Willingness to travel within Metro Manila and adjacent regions as required.
