UpSkill MNL is seeking a results-driven Retail Training Manager to design, coordinate, and implement training programs for our Cebu City retail operations. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, aimed at elevating store performance, customer experience, and sales results across our network.

As the Retail Training Manager, you will partner with operations leaders to assess learning needs, build scalable curricula, and deliver engaging programs that accelerate new-hire onboarding, product knowledge, selling skills, and operational excellence. You will lead classroom sessions, virtual trainings, on-the-job coaching, and store visits to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and processes.

Key focus areas include program design, trainer development, metrics and evaluation, and content governance. You will measure impact through performance KPIs, conduct needs analyses, and continuously refine materials based on feedback and business results. This role requires strong communication, project management, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibility

  • Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new store teammates across Cebu City and nearby areas.
  • Develop, update, and maintain curricula, trainer guides, e-learning modules, and assessment tools.
  • Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual trainings to store teams, supervisors, and leaders.
  • Partner with Retail Operations to identify performance gaps and create targeted coaching plans.
  • Lead Train-the-Trainer initiatives and coach store-level trainers to ensure consistent execution.
  • Track training effectiveness using KPIs, metrics, and post-training evaluations; report on ROI to stakeholders.
  • Ensure training materials reflect brand standards, product knowledge, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and travel if required to support field-based training.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, education, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, with a focus on training or development.
  • Proven impact in designing and delivering effective training programs; experience with blended learning.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; ability to influence across levels.
  • Proficiency with LMS, e-learning tools, and data-driven training evaluation.
  • Ability to travel or work across multiple stores in Cebu City and nearby areas if required.
  • Project management mindset with the ability to manage multiple programs concurrently.
  • Fluent in English; Filipino language skills a plus, with culturally aware approach to diverse teams.
