Join MSIG as an Assistant Manager in the Health Segment Profit Centre and play a pivotal role in delivering profitable growth for healthcare solutions in Singapore. You will partner with the Head of Department to translate market insights into practical strategies, influence product design, pricing, and distribution, and support the department’s goals for sustainable profitability. As part of the Health Insurance team, you will coordinate cross-functional initiatives across underwriting, actuarial, product, distribution, and operations. You will monitor profitability, track key performance indicators, and prepare insightful management reports to guide leadership decisions. You will champion process improvements, ensure compliance with local regulations, and help strengthen relationships with brokers, medical networks, and internal stakeholders. You will lead data-driven analyses to optimize pricing, portfolio mix, and claims performance, delivering actionable recommendations that balance growth with prudent risk controls.

Responsibility
- Assist Head of Department in executing the Health Insurance Segment Profit Centre strategy to achieve profitable growth and market leadership.
- Coordinate annual planning, budgeting, and KPI tracking for Health Segment Profit Centre; analyze profitability and performance.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Product, and Distribution teams to design competitive health insurance products and pricing strategies.
- Monitor regulatory compliance, risk controls, and quality standards; prepare management reporting dashboards for leadership.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with internal teams, brokers, healthcare providers, and networks; facilitate effective communications.
- Lead special projects such as pricing optimization, portfolio analytics, product enhancements, and process improvements in claims and distribution.
- Support implementation of new initiatives, track benefits realization, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; 2-5 years of experience in health insurance or insurance product management.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret profitability metrics, pricing, and risk.
- Familiarity with Singapore health insurance market; knowledge of regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence across levels and teams.
- Project management capabilities; ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CII, CFA) or equivalent are considered a plus.
