We are seeking a Senior Executive/Executive, Claims Services – Property & Casualty (Healthcare) to join our dynamic Claims Services team. As part of our claims organization, you will uphold the highest standards of accuracy, empathy, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure accurate assessment, timely settlement, transparent communication, and proactive risk management. This position provides exposure to end-to-end claims handling, governance, and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage end-to-end Property & Casualty (Healthcare) claims lifecycle from intake to resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and fair settlements.
- Assess and authorize complex adjudication decisions, leveraging clinical information, policy terms, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with medical networks, risk management teams, and brokers to facilitate efficient claim resolution and appropriate care arrangements.
- Drive claims analytics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvements, cost containment, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Insurance Act, MAS guidelines, and internal policies; maintain robust audit trails.
- Mentor and coach junior claims professionals; lead by example in service excellence and professional development.
- Communicate clearly with insured parties, employers, and providers, delivering timely updates and effective negotiations.
- Partner with underwriting, legal counsel, and product teams to develop and implement claims strategies that reduce risk and improve outcomes.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of claims management experience with a focus on Healthcare or Property & Casualty.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Insurance Act, MAS guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with claims management systems, data analytics, and MS Excel.
- Professional certifications such as CPCU, ACII, or AIC are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Customer-centric mindset with empathy, problem-solving, and strong accountability.
