As the Assistant Production Head, you will partner with the Production Head to supervise daily production operations, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvements across all lines. You will be responsible for coordinating across manufacturing, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to meet output targets while optimizing costs and lead times.

Responsibility
- Assist the Production Head in planning and directing daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor line efficiency, throughput, scrap, downtime, and yield; implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, maintenance, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless production and on-time material availability.
- Lead and develop production supervisors and team leads; manage shift schedules, attendance, and training needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing methods to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and GMP standards; conduct risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and dashboards to management; translate data into actionable improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in production leadership.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production management, supervisory roles, or a similar environment in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional communication skills; proven track record of building high-performing teams.
- Data-driven with proficiency in KPIs, metrics, and basic data analysis; experience using ERP/MIS systems.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and safety standards; ability to lead continuous improvement projects.
- Ability to work in Canlubang, Laguna, and manage shift-based operations; flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills; detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
