Responsibility
- Lead and execute Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, optimize line configurations, and shorten cycle times.
- Design, implement, and validate manufacturing processes for new products using standard work, process maps, and FMEA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to specification, tooling, and automation upgrades; monitor performance with KPIs.
- Lead problem-solving activities using root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making (Minitab/Excel).
- Support capital projects from concept through commissioning, including risk assessments and project timelines.
- Manage ongoing quality systems, CAPAs, and supplier quality integration as part of APQP and PPAP processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of rigorous problem solving and standard work.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in high-volume production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, APQP).
- Hands-on experience with PLC/CNC controls, automation, MES systems, and ERP (SAP or Oracle).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools and process simulation; ability to interpret drawings and specs quickly.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills; data-driven decision maker.
