ATC - Applied Total Control Treatment is hiring an Assistant QA Engineer to join our Penang manufacturing team. This entry level role offers a hands-on path into quality assurance within a fast-paced, ISO-compliant environment. You will support quality processes, inspection activities, and documentation to ensure our products meet high standards and customer expectations.
In this role you will work closely with production, engineering and supply chain colleagues to implement effective quality checks, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain audit-ready records. Responsibilities
- Assist quality assurance activities on production lines to verify product conformity and process adherence
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections and documentation
- Develop, review and maintain test procedures, checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support root cause analysis and CAPA tracking for non-conformances
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and QA teams to implement process improvements
- Maintain QA records, non-conformance reports and traceability documentation
- Assist with internal audits and supplier quality activities as required
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance or related field; equivalent experience considered for fresh graduates
- Basic understanding of quality assurance principles, inspection methods and problem solving
- Familiarity with GMP/ISO quality standards and documentation practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QA software or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and effective communication
- Willingness to learn, team player with a proactive mindset
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing QA environment is beneficial but not required
