Responsibility
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
- Provide risk analysis and regulatory guidance to clients across industries.
- Manage case strategy, discovery, pleadings, and filings in state and federal courts.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare memos to inform client decisions.
- Negotiate settlements and coordinate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Attend court appearances, hearings, and client meetings, with strong advocacy and attention to detail.
- Mentor junior associates and collaborate with partners to drive successful matter outcomes.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active New York State Bar admission; strong eligibility for other jurisdictions is a plus.
- 3-6 years of combined experience in corporate law, M&A, or commercial litigation.
- Outstanding legal research and writing abilities with precise, actionable analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, Lexis) and document-management software.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
