Responsibility
- Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters for clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
- Lead mergers and acquisitions diligence, deal documentation, and integration planning.
- Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Support litigation readiness, dispute avoidance, and coordination with outside counsel.
- Manage outside counsel relationships, budgeting, and team mentorship.
- Develop and implement internal policies and trainings on legal risk and ethics.
Qualification
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active NY bar admission.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with M&A, governance, and cross-border transactions preferred.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities; capable of leading cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solver with high ethical standards and ability to manage confidential information.
