As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in shaping case strategy, drafting essential documents, and supporting negotiations and resolutions for complex commercial matters. Responsibility
- Provide legal counsel in litigation and corporate matters for a diverse client base, under supervision of partners.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and corporate documents.
- Manage and organize case files, track deadlines, and prepare for hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
- Assist in negotiations, settlements, and client communications to advance favorable outcomes.
- Review, draft, and negotiate agreements, service contracts, and corporate governance documents.
- Support due diligence processes, risk assessments, and compliance for transactional work.
- Collaborate with partners on case strategy, client relations, and business development initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with Philippine laws and jurisprudence relevant to clients and practice areas.
Qualification
- Graduate of a Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree; eligible to practice in the Philippines and duly admitted to the bar (or pursuing admission).
- 1-3 years of experience in litigation and/or corporate law; strong foundation in legal research and drafting.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and courts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work effectively under supervision.
- Analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Solid understanding of Philippine court procedures, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
- Professional demeanor, ethical integrity, and a collaborative mindset within a team environment.
