LexBridge Legal Group is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join our Corporate & Compliance practice in New York City. This full-time role offers exposure to high-impact matters, a collaborative culture, and opportunities for professional growth.

In this role, you will counsel clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, draft and negotiate contracts, and support complex transactions across various industries. You will collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop practical, solution-focused strategies that protect client interests.

Responsibility

  • Provide guidance on corporate governance, securities compliance, and regulatory developments affecting clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements with attention to risk allocation and enforceability.
  • Lead due diligence and assist with integration planning for M&A transactions.
  • Support regulatory filings and internal policy development to ensure adherence to applicable laws.
  • Advise clients on risk management, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and data privacy considerations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and IT to deliver practical legal solutions.
  • Prepare client-ready materials, briefing memos, and board-level communications as needed.

Qualification

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in New York.
  • 5+ years of corporate law, compliance, or related practice experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with SEC filings, SOX compliance, AML/KYC programs, and data privacy regulations.
  • Proven negotiation skills, client service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and contract management systems.
