Responsibility
- Collaborate with partners on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, governance, and contract structuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial agreements and related documents.
- Manage litigation matters from filing through resolution, including discovery planning, motions, and hearings.
- Conduct rigorous legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and strategy analyses.
- Negotiate settlements and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Leverage technology and case management tools to maintain meticulous matter calendars and deadlines.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to the New York Bar with active status.
- 3-6 years of progressive experience in corporate law and or litigation within a recognized firm or in-house environment.
- Exceptional drafting, analysis, and written/oral communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize work, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience with eDiscovery, case management software, and standard MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated client service orientation and professional collaboration with partners and associates.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to professional growth and ethics.
