Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated Associate Lawyer to join our legal team in Jakarta Selatan. Responsibility
- Manage and support corporate law matters including governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance for clients in Indonesia.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with vendors, clients, and partners.
- Support due diligence and closing activities for corporate transactions and M&A projects.
- Assist in litigation matters including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, opinions, and practical recommendations.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders, providing timely updates and risk assessments.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on compliance implications for clients.
- Contribute to business development and thought leadership through drafting briefs and participating in client meetings.
Qualification
- Indonesian Advocate license (Advokat) with active PERADI membership.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate law and/or litigation.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, contracts, governance, and dispute resolution.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize, and meet deadlines with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player with a client-service mindset.
- Familiarity with Indonesian regulatory frameworks and due diligence processes for corporate matters.
