Capital Dynamics, a leading global fund management group, is seeking a proactive Associate, Management & Operations to join our Kuala Lumpur team. In this key role, you will partner with senior management to drive efficient operations, governance, and strategic initiatives across the business. You will contribute to day-to-day management, coordinate cross-functional projects, and help deliver high-quality reporting to stakeholders. Based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, you will work closely with finance, compliance, HR, and investor relations to streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance the overall performance of the organization. You will be tasked with managing calendars and meetings, coordinating agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring timely delivery of reports and operational initiatives. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management activities, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Responsibility

  • Support senior management in day-to-day operations, scheduling, and project coordination to ensure smooth and efficient business execution.
  • Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for governance and decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional processes across finance, risk, compliance, HR, and investor relations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense management; monitor cost control initiatives.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and internal communications for senior leaders.
  • Support governance, policy documentation, and internal control activities to strengthen risk management.
  • Engage with external partners, vendors, and service providers; support procurement and vendor onboarding.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational efficiency.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in administration, operations, or fund management environments.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams; comfortable with deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities; comfort with data-driven decision making.
  • Business fluency in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous in the Malaysia-based role.
