Portside Legal Group, LLP is seeking a skilled Attorney to join our Corporate and Regulatory Practice in New York City. This role offers a path to leadership within a dynamic firm focused on delivering innovative solutions for complex corporate transactions and regulatory matters.

Responsibility
- Advise clients on corporate structuring, governance, and regulatory compliance for mergers, acquisitions, and financings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, terms sheets, and ancillary agreements to protect client interests.
- Lead due diligence efforts and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate risks.
- Manage litigation risk and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
- Communicate legal analysis and strategic recommendations to stakeholders in clear, client-friendly language.
- Develop and deliver training on regulatory updates and best practices for clients and colleagues.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; bar admission in New York or eligible to waive in.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, or related practice areas.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities; adept at explaining complex issues to non-lawyers.
- Ability to manage multiple matters with tight deadlines and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and client service skills.
- Technology-savvy with experience using legal research tools and case management software.
