Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues with precision
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure seamless customer communications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
- Complete repair orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Adhere to manufacturer and company service guidelines
- Stay updated on industry trends and new automotive technologies
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification a plus
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools and repair equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- ASE certification preferred but not required
