Responsibility
- Lead the design, validation, and integration of high-voltage battery systems for EV platforms.
- Develop BMS architecture, state estimation, cell balancing algorithms, and safety interlocks.
- Collaborate with thermal management, power electronics, software, and vehicle integration teams.
- Create and manage requirements, test plans, verification and validation activities to meet ISO 26262 and internal standards.
- Perform DFMEA/Risk assessments and drive reliability improvements across battery modules.
- Coordinate supplier selection, BOM management, and interface with purchasing and program management.
- Support calibration, benchmarking, and field data analysis to optimize performance and safety.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years in automotive battery system design or EV electrification projects.
- Hands-on experience with BMS, cell balancing, state estimation, and thermal management.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, ASIL classification, and safety-critical development processes.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++, CAN/CAN-FD; experience with lab equipment and test rigs.
- Familiarity with MIL standards, FMEA/DFMEA, and system-level integration.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project leadership skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States or have valid work permit to join without sponsorship.
