Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and brake systems on diverse vehicles with precision
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Troubleshoot faults, interpret ECU data, and implement effective repair strategies
- Inspect and test vehicles after repairs to ensure safety and reliability
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to safety protocols
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to workshop process improvements
- Manage parts procurement and ensure proper documentation for warranties
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or ASE certifications preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on automotive mechanic experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (OBD II) and shop computer systems
- Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, braking, suspension, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Own a complete set of essential mechanic tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer service skills
- Strong communication and teamwork orientation
