Responsibility
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose issues using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Interpret electrical diagrams and manage wiring repairs
- Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, filter replacements, system flushes)
- Test-drive vehicles and verify repair quality; document all work orders
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety standards
- Advise customers on recommended services and offer clear, transparent explanations
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to parts ordering and inventory control
Qualification
- ASE certification or equivalent; 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, diagnostics, electrical systems, and brake/suspension systems
- Proficient with diagnostic tools (OBD-II, scope meters, handheld scanners) and repair procedures
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and electrical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and safety compliance
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
