Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across domestic and import vehicles using diagnostic tools and industry-standard procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance services (oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, tires) with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Inspect and replace worn components, alignments, and perform engine diagnostics and tuning as needed.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using scan tools, wiring diagrams, and service information.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and transparent communication with customers.
  • Ensure work is performed safely in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
  • Document all service procedures, parts used, and timekeeping in our shop management system.
  • Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • ASE certification or equivalent credentials; or 3+ years' hands-on mechanic experience
  • Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and drivability troubleshooting
  • Proficient with diagnostic scanners, multi-meters, and hand tools; ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and adhering to deadlines
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule including weekends as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical program preferred
