Charterhouse is actively seeking a motivated Backroom Cashier to join our reputable operations team in Singapore. In this role you will manage cash transactions, contribute to efficient backroom operations, and support inventory and order processing in a fast paced setting. You will also assist with stock handling, packing and coordinating with other teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
Shift details include a stable five day roster with fixed 12 hour shifts. Charterhouse offers permanent day or night shift options, along with an annual wage supplement and a performance based bonus. Responsibility
- Manage cash handling tasks and support point of sale operations with accuracy and integrity
- Receive, sort and store goods in the backroom, ensuring proper labeling and locations
- Process daily transactions and assist in reconciliation of cash and documents
- Assist in stock counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Prepare packing lists and assist with order fulfillment for internal and external requests
- Maintain clean, safe and organized backroom workspace following company SOPs
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to replenish stock and resolve discrepancies
- Provide friendly service to internal customers and colleagues, supporting a positive work environment
Qualification
- High school or equivalent education required
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Willingness to work 12 hour shifts on a 5 day roster
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS or ERP systems is a plus
- Legally eligible to work in Singapore
