Join Elitez Group as a Bank AML & Sanctions Risk Team Member and help safeguard the integrity of financial operations across the organization. This temporary role focuses on driving AML/CFT, sanctions, and FATCA/CRS analytics, advisory, and compliance initiatives through data-driven insights. You will partner with Compliance, Risk Management, and business units to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable controls and reporting, enabling informed decision-making and stronger risk posture.
In this position, you will leverage data to monitor, detect, and escalate red flags related to money laundering, financing of terrorism, and sanctions violations. You will contribute to the enhancement of screening programs, maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory regimes, and support management in risk assessments, policy implementation, and regulatory reporting. Your analytical mindset and collaboration skills will be essential in delivering timely, accurate risk insights that protect customers, the bank, and the broader financial ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include driving analytics dashboards, supporting advisory on policy updates, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure robust control environments. The role offers exposure to a dynamic risk landscape and the opportunity to develop subject-matter expertise in AML, sanctions, FATCA/CRS, and related regulatory frameworks.
Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze AML/CFT, sanctions, and FATCA/CRS data to identify elevated risk signals and potential red flags.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk Management, and business units to implement data-driven controls, advisory support, and remediation actions.
- Prepare concise risk assessments, escalation memos, and management reports for senior stakeholders and regulators.
- Maintain and enhance screening programs including sanctions lists, PEPs, adverse media, and customer due diligence workflows.
- Support regulatory reporting, audit readiness, and responses to inquiries from supervisory authorities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of risk controls.
- Stay current with evolving AML/CFT regulations and FATCA/CRS requirements, translating changes into practical processes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in AML, sanctions, or regulatory compliance within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and sanctions regimes, including FATCA and CRS.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools (SQL, Excel, visualization tools) and risk reporting.
- Experience with transaction monitoring systems, KYC processes, and adverse due diligence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CFA) or pursuing relevant credentials are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
