Responsibility
- Open and close the cafe with a meticulous approach to cleanliness, setup, and safety.
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers, anticipate needs, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately; manage end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Maintain impeccable station organization, inventory, and back-bar setup.
- Triage orders efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain strong coffee knowledge and communicate offerings to guests.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards and participate in ongoing training.
Qualification
- Previous barista experience or strong passion for specialty coffee (2+ years preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Proficient latte art and milk texturing or demonstrated willingness to learn.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Cash handling experience and basic math accuracy; comfortable with POS systems.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and high hygiene standards.
