As a Barista, you will be the face of our cafe, delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Responsibility
- Greet customers, take orders, and craft espresso-based drinks (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites) to spec.
- Froth milk to perfection, dial in grind size, and maintain beverage consistency across shifts.
- Operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and manage tips with accuracy.
- Keep work and front-of-house areas clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service.
- Engage with customers, upsell specials, and build repeat business through friendly service.
- Monitor inventory, restock coffee beans, pastries, and supplies as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain sanitation throughout the cafe.
- Collaborate with teammates during peak hours to ensure smooth throughput and quality.
Qualification
- Previous barista experience or strong passion for specialty coffee and customer service.
- Excellent communication and friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable with POS systems.
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
