As a Barista you will greet guests, prepare a range of espresso beverages, operate the POS system, and maintain a clean and inviting station. A passion for quality coffee, a polished service style, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment are essential.

Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly and understand their beverage preferences to provide a personalized experience.
- Prepare high quality espresso drinks with precise extraction and appropriate milk texturing.
- Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash and card transactions with integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation, including back bar, espresso machine, and grinders.
- Monitor inventories and restock cups, syrups, and toppings as needed.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in line with local regulations.
- Collaborate with teammates to manage busy periods and ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Engage with guests to upsell beverages and seasonal offerings in a respectful, non-intrusive way.
Qualification
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art basics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities; comfortable with POS systems
- Commitment to a clean, organized workstation and high quality beverage standards
