Responsibility
- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages and manual brew coffees to brand standards with consistency and artistry.
- Provide friendly, attentive service, greeting guests and upselling premium drinks when appropriate.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machine, grinders) and perform routine cleaning and sanitization.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Process orders accurately using the POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and manage cash reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and assist with inventory control.
- Mentor new team members and contribute to training sessions to uphold service excellence.
- Follow brand standards, generate consistent latte art, and support seasonal beverage launches.
Qualification
- Minimum 1–2 years of barista experience in a fast-paced cafe or hospitality setting.
- Proven latte art skills and knowledge of coffee preparation methods.
- Customer-service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Basic barista training or certification preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling; basic math skills.
- Commitment to hygiene, cleaning protocols, and food-safety standards.
- Team player with reliability and a positive, proactive attitude.
