Responsibility
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee with consistency and precision.
- Deliver outstanding guest service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Operate POS, process payments, and handle cash with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and dining area; follow safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and assist with rotating stock and back-of-house tasks.
- Support team training and onboarding; lead by example during busy shifts.
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure peak performance.
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, dosing, milk texturing, and basic latte art.
- Solid knowledge of coffee origins, roasting, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and stay composed during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math, cash handling, and POS experience; some roles require a valid food handler certification.
