Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso and coffee beverages with consistency.
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment.
- Greet customers, take orders, handle cash or POS transactions, and process payments accurately.
- Assist with daily opening/closing duties, stock replenishment, and inventory management.
- Provide product recommendations, upsell specialty drinks, and promote seasonal offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, follow health & safety guidelines.
- Train and mentor new baristas, and uphold brand standards for service and presentation.
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of Barista experience in a fast-paced café or specialty coffee shop.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grind levels, and milk texturing.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math and POS handling; cash handling accuracy.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
