Emerald City Barista Services is a premium on-site coffee partner delivering expert barista service for cafes, offices, events, and private functions across Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
We are seeking a motivated Barista Services Specialist to join our polished team. You will prepare high-quality beverages, maintain equipment, and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience.
As part of our team, you will receive:
- Comprehensive training on specialty brews, espresso techniques, and latte art.
- On-site setup, service execution, and breakdown for events and daily programs.
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards per local regulations.
- Quality control of beverages and service speed to optimize guest experience.
- Inventory management for coffee, milk, syrups, and cups; basic equipment care.
- Collaborating with event coordinators and clients to deliver tailored experiences.

Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages to a high standard, including espresso, filters, and specialty drinks.
- Set up and break down coffee stations, including equipment calibration and sanitation.
- Maintain cleanliness and health and safety standards across the service area.
- Deliver warm, knowledgeable customer service and engage with guests to elevate their experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with team leads to restock supplies.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Support latte art production and beverage presentation for visually striking drinks.
Qualification
- 1+ year of barista experience in a fast-paced environment or equivalent on-site coffee service.
- Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and basic cleaning routines.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene; ServSafe or local equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic POS/cash handling experience is a plus.
