Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high quality espresso based beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers, provide friendly service, upsell where appropriate
- Operate and maintain cafe equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and milk texturing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and station
- Handle cash, operate the POS system, and process transactions accurately
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory and restocking
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team to ensure a smooth experience during peak hours
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a fast paced cafe or specialty coffee shop
- Proficient in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to multi task
