Responsibility
- Prepare and serve espresso based beverages to spec with precision and artistry
- Deliver outstanding guest service, build relationships, and foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Operate, clean, and troubleshoot espresso machines and grinders; perform routine maintenance
- Manage daily opening and closing duties, cash handling, and quality checks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bar area and equipment
- Train and mentor junior baristas, sharing knowledge on technique and standards
- Collaborate with the roastery team on bean profiles, seasonal drinks, and menu presentation
Qualification
- 2+ years of barista experience in a specialty coffee environment
- Deep knowledge of coffee beans, roast levels, extraction, and flavor profiling
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
- Barista certification or equivalent training; latte art proficiency
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and sanitation practices
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
