Responsibility
- Prepare and serve espresso and coffee beverages to standard recipes with consistency
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service, taking orders and up selling where appropriate
- Maintain shop cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance standards
- Operate POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and manage daily sales
- Monitor stock levels, restock coffee beans, dairy, syrups, and supplies
- Calibrate grinders, texture milk, and ensure beverage quality across shifts
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a cafe or high-volume environment
- Solid knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling
- Food safety awareness and willingness to obtain necessary certifications
