Responsibility
- Design, execute, and optimize molecular biology experiments focused on genomics and gene expression.
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction, library preparation, sequencing workflows, and quality control.
- Analyze high-throughput datasets using R, Python, and bioinformatics tools; interpret results to drive decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable insights for product development.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, standard operating procedures, and lab notebooks.
- Ensure compliance with biosafety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to project planning and grant preparation.
Qualification
- Masters or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field; 2+ years industry experience for MS, or 0-2 years for PhD candidates.
- Proficient in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, cloning, cell culture, and sequencing library prep.
- Experience with NGS data analysis, bioinformatics pipelines, and programming in R or Python.
- Strong problem-solving, data interpretation, and scientific communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent documentation, SOP development, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience with lab equipment calibration, inventory management, and experimental reproducibility.
