The successful candidate will design and execute experiments, interpret results, and contribute to the discovery, optimization, and communication of scientific findings.
We value scientific rigor, independence, and the ability to clearly convey complex data to multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibility
- Plan, design, and execute molecular biology experiments (PCR, qPCR, cloning, sequencing) to support drug discovery and translational research.
- Develop and optimize cellular assays (cell culture, transfection, viability, differentiation) and validate robust readouts.
- Analyze data using statistical methods and bioinformatics tools; prepare clear internal reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformatics, toxicology, and project management to drive milestones.
- Maintain meticulous laboratory records, ensure compliance with GLP/GMP and biosafety standards, and manage equipment and inventory.
- Mentor junior staff and interns; share best practices and contribute to training materials.
- Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, posters, and grant proposals as needed.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology and cell culture; experience with CRISPR is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis using GraphPad Prism, R, Python, or similar; experience with sequencing data preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design robust experiments, interpret results, and troubleshoot complex protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present data to cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with biosafety guidelines, GLP/GMP practices, and quality systems.
