Job description

Responsibility

  • Lead design and execution of molecular biology experiments including gene editing, sequencing, and expression analyses.
  • Oversee daily lab operations, project planning, and quality control to ensure reproducible results.
  • Develop and optimize protocols for CRISPR/Cas9 editing, qPCR, ELISA, and cell culture workflows.
  • Analyze data using Python or R; prepare figures and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on grant proposals, manuscripts, and regulatory documentation.
  • Mentor and train junior scientists and technicians; supervise safety and compliance adherence.

Qualification

  • PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field; or an MS with 5+ years of hands on laboratory experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques including CRISPR, qPCR, cloning, and cell culture.
  • Proven track record with data analysis using Python or R; strong statistical understanding.
  • Experience managing projects, timelines, and mentoring staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated publication record.
